Virat Kohli asks Indore crowd to cheer for Mohammed Shami
As Shami steamed into bowl during the Bangladesh innings, captain Kohli looked towards the Indore crowd and being his usual self, made a gesture to them to get behind the bowler. He signalled the crowd to cheer on for the fast bowlers and Kohli himself also once again took over the role of a cheerleader. As soon as the crowd found their voice, they started to clap and sing along in support of the Indian team. The support reaped dividends as Bangladesh were shot out for a considerably small first-innings total after facing 58.3 overs. Kohli's gesture won a lot of hearts as the video went viral as well on social media.

India on top after Day 1
After India’s thumping 2-1 victory over the visitors in T20Is, the two teams are now facing off against each other for the top honours of the ongoing Ganguly-Durjoy Trophy. The opening Test of the two-match series went underway this morning when the visitors won the toss and decided to bat first. Mohammed Shami led the charge of India’s three-man pace attack with fiery spells of fast bowling. Test specialist Ravichandran Ashwin also grabbed two wickets and became only the third bowler from the country to pick up 250 wickets on home conditions.
