India is currently leading the T20I series against Sri Lanka 2-0, with the final match scheduled for Tuesday, July 30, in Pallekele. The tour will then shift focus to the ODI series, starting on August 2, with all matches set to be played at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Notably, Rohit Sharma will return to lead the team in the ODI series, marking his first stint as captain under the new head coach Gautam Gambhir.

Virat Kohli's interaction with fans goes viral

Virat Kohli will also join the Indian cricket team for the ODI series. He is seen shaking hands with a fan and exchanging pleasantries, a gesture that has endeared him even more to his supporters. 

Virat Kohli, who was named the 'Player of the Match' in the final of the T20 World Cup 2024, was enjoying some downtime in London with his young family before rejoining the Indian squad for the Sri Lanka tour.
