Kohli was not at his best during IND vs SL 

On Tuesday, September 12, Virat Kohli battled with the bat against Sri Lanka in a critical Super 4 match in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023. Just the day before, Kohli had shown a superb batting performance by making a stunning century against arch-rivals Pakistan. The former India captain batted undefeated for 122 runs off 94 balls, contributing to India's commanding total of 356 for 2 in 50 overs. In response, Pakistan could only produce 128 runs before being all out, giving India a record-breaking victory margin of 228 runs.

Kohli came to bat against Sri Lanka after Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill got the side off to a good start. Before Gill was out for 19, the pair enjoyed a quick 80-run partnership. With the expectation of another huge contribution from Kohli, the batting master struggled to establish his form, scoring only 3 runs off 12 balls before being removed.

The crowd cheered him on as he showed off his dance skills. Even though Kohli had a poor game, India beat the home team by 41 runs after a hard-fought match. India will play in the final of the Asia Cup 2023.
