Hardik Pandya rattles Babar Azam with a tremendous inswinging delivery
After an excellent batting performance, the Indian cricket team continued their dominance with the ball and removed two Pakistani batters before the rain stopped play on the reserve day. Pakistani opener Imam ul-Haq was the first to depart for a score of nine runs, he was caught at slips off the bowling of Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah. It was Pakistan skipper Babar Azam, who came into bat after Imam's dismissal.

Babar Azam was constantly struggling against Indian bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj. However, it was Hardik Pandya who removed the Pakistani skipper for a score of 10 runs. Pandya bowled a ball which pitched outside the off stump and drew Babar into the shot. This created a gap between the bat and the pad, and later the ball clipped the top of the off stump. The dismissal was so classy, that it left Babar Azam shocked.
Babar Azam's lean patch against Team India in ODIs
This is not the first time that Pakistan cricket team skipper Babar Azam has failed against India in ODI cricket. Before this particular match against India, Babar played on seven occasions against the Indian cricket team. The Pakistani skipper has only scored 168 runs at an average of 28.00 with just one six and zero hundreds.
