Dhoni's family watches Chandrayaan-3 landing on Republic TV, Ziva's reaction is unmissable

India on Wednesday created history as it became the fourth nation to achieve a soft landing on the Moon after the United States, Russia, and China. India also became the first country to land on the southern side of our natural satellite through Chandrayaan 3. The mission was led by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), which confirmed the news at 6:04 PM IST. The achievement is being celebrated across the country with people lauding the Indian scientific community for their hard work and dedication.

MS Dhoni's family celebrates India's soft landing on the Moon

Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's family celebrated the historic achievement at their residence in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Dhoni's wife Sakshi shared a video on her Instagram handle, where their daughter Ziva could be seen cheering and clapping after ISRO confirmed the news of her successful landing. Interestingly, Dhoni family was watching Republic TV to keep tabs on the Chandrayaan-3 landing. The video is doing rounds on various social media platforms.

Chandrayaan 3 scripts 'Golden Chapter' in Indian history

Chandrayaan-3 serves as a subsequent mission to Chandrayaan-2 and aims to showcase a complete capability for a secure lunar landing and surface exploration. This mission incorporates both a Lander and Rover setup. The mission was launched from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota on the LVM3 rocket.

Chandrayaan 3's total life span

The propulsion module has ferried the Vikram lander to the lunar surface. The Lander has several scientific instruments, including a rover named - Pragyan. The rover also holds its own set of instruments. The Chandrayaan 3 mission's life for the lander and rover is one lunar day, which is equivalent to 14 Earth days.
