The Indian cricket team has firmly established its dominance over Australia in the ongoing second ODI at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. Following stellar performances with the bat by Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer, captain KL Rahul took it upon himself to lead the charge for the team. The stand-in captain took Australian bowlers to the cleaners as he scored his second consecutive half-century in the series. One shot that caught everyone's attention was a six that sailed out of the stadium.

KL Rahul emerged with guns blazing after Shreyas Iyer's departure, launching a relentless assault on the Australian bowlers with some extraordinary strokes. However, one particular shot from him garnered huge applause as he sent the ball soaring high into the sky. In the 35th over, Rahul smashed a colossal six off Cameron Green that traveled a whopping 94 meters and went on the stadium's roof.

Green had bowled a delivery in the perfect slot, and the Indian captain quickly positioned himself to dispatch it over deep mid-wicket. The ball cleared the stadium boundary much to the delight of the fans and commentators alike. A video of the gigantic six is now doing rounds on various social media handles.

KL Rahul in fine form ahead of the ODI World Cup

KL Rahul, who had smashed an unbeaten half-century in the previous game, seamlessly continued his fine form. He ensured that Australia couldn't regain momentum after the dismissals of Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer. Rahul completed his half-century in no time before being dismissed by Green on 52. Suryakumar Yadav also launched an onslaught of his own as he smashed an unbeaten 72 off 37 balls to finish India's innings total at 399/5 in 50 overs. Australia will now need 400 runs to win the match and level the series 1-1.
