CSK To Take On RCB On Friday IN IPL 2025
Both CSK and RCB have made winning starts to their IPL 2025 campaign. Chennai got the better of archrival Mumbai Indians , while RCB thrashed reigning champions Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2025 opener in Kolkata.
All the focus will be on Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni who have been flagbearers of their respective franchises since the inception of the cash-rich league, and they will have to shoulder bigger responsibilities this time.
CSK Coach Reveals Their Plans Fpor Virat Kohli
Vireat looked in complete control against KKR, and he will once again open the batting with Phil Salt. However, CSK coach Stephen Fleming insisted it would be difficult to point out weaknesses and strengths after just one game.
As quoted by the Hindustan Times, he said, “It's really hard to comment after just one game. The RCB and CSK from last year is quite different. We don't look into past performances."
He went on to reveal further that they want to keep Virat and RCB captain Rajat Patidar quiet against them.
“Certainly, looking at their team, Kohli is a big part of it. But they have strength in their team, like most franchises have. The competition is pretty even this year. If we keep him and Patidar quiet, then it will help us to win."
Virat scored a brilliant 59 against KKR as he continued his brilliant run in IPL 2024. He won the Orange Cap last season and is looking very confident with each game passing this time.
