India had set a target of 337 for Pakistan, with Rohit Sharma(140) leading from the front with the bat alongside KL Rahul (57) and skipper Virat Kohli (77) and the bowlers performing exceptionally well as Kuldeep Yadav, Hardik Pandya, and Vijay Shankar grabbed two wickets each. Pakistan failed to chase the target, as they struggled with their batting.
Even an interference from the rains couldn't turn the tables for Pakistan as they lost the match by 89 runs.
