After two months of a hectic IPL 2024 season, it's time for the biggest T20I extravaganza: the much-awaited T20 World Cup, set to commence next month. While the spotlight will be on the big three - India, Australia, and England - teams like Pakistan, New Zealand, Afghanistan, and South Africa are poised to be the dark horses in the competition.

As for Australia, the Men in Yellow have been exceptional lately, clinching ICC titles across formats. Pat Cummins guided Australia to two ICC titles last year. He won the Test Championship and ODI World Cup in India. 

However, Mitchell Marsh will captain Australia in the T20 World Cup 2024 and it will be interesting to see if he can win another ICC title for the country. Australia have won only T20 World Cup in the past, which came in 2021 after they beat New Zealand in the final.
