Team India aims third ODI World Cup title
The Indian cricket team will be aiming to win its third ODI World Cup title when they will play in the semi-finals against New Zealand. The ‘Men in Blue’ have not been able to win an ICC title from the last ten years and it was MS Dhoni under whose leadership, the Indian team won the Champions Trophy against England. Rohit Sharma and Co. have the best chance to win an ICC title after the gap of 10 years as they have been the most dominant side in the tournament so far and also they have a home advantage. Another plus for the Indian team has been the performance of all the players in the ODI World Cup 2023. In every game, a different has been adjudged with the Player of the Match award, which tells that the Indian team has been performing in every department.
New Zealand's campaign as well in their last five games went in the opposite direction as they were only able to win one game out of the last five matches.
