Aside from the enthralling contest between bat and ball, there occurred a traditional instance of a bowler giving a wild send-off to the batsman in the AUS vs Oman match. Batting first Australia endured a shaky start as they were three down at the score of 50. A solid stand was needed at that juncture, David Warner and Marcus Stoinis stepped up to provide what was needed. Together they constructed a 102-run stand for the fourth wicket and took Australia past the 150 mark. Both put on their respective half centuries in the process but immediately after getting to his fifty David Warner failed to clear the long-off boundary and perished after scoring a gritty 56 off 51 balls. Pacer Kaleemullah picked his wicket and rendered him an angry send-off.
An ecstatic Kaleemullah showcased typical fast bowler's aggression after getting the wicket of Warner. He roared and hurled a kick in the direction of David Warner.
The drama however did not end there. Warner, who was making his way back mistakenly climbed the stairs of the wrong dressing room. He realised that he had taken the wrong route and then went back to head towards the facility assigned to the Australian team.
