It is the ultimate chance of redemption for Hardik Pandya as the all-rounder is geared up to face Team India's arch nemesis, Pakistan in an upcoming group stage clash at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. In the aftermath of a disastrous IPL 2024 season as a skipper of the Mumbai Indians, Hardik is finding his groove as he dons the blues for the Indian National Cricket Team as they play in the World Cup to end their trophyless run for a decade. Pandya, who is prone to injuries and is coming off poor form, has addressed his mindset as he prepares for the clash of the Titans.

Hardik Pandya drips with positivity, backs his skills ahead of IND vs PAK T20 World Cup clash

Hardik Pandya has been the go-to man for Team India in terms of a credible all-rounder, and he proved his worth when Team India opened their T20 World Cup campaign against Ireland. The 30-year-old all-rounder is making sure to put in the effort and has been proving his credibility as a cricketer after a slew of poor performances. In a video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Hardik backed his potential and credibility as an all-rounder.

"Everything falls into place for people who work hard. And go and spend a lot of time within yourself, identify who you are, back yourself because you know, Hardik at 30 is a much easier job at Hardik at 60.

"From those days, these days are much, much better, try to find out what exactly are you are trying to figure it out in your skill sets especially. That's why I just went, bowled a lot of overs, batted a lot of balls, so in that scenario, you realise your potential slowly, and that was my focus," Hardik said during an interaction with bcci.tv.

Hardik also expressed his excitement to compete in a rather new place. the all-rounder also expressed his zeal to be able to be a part of the historic clash of the arch-rivals, the Indian vs Pakistan match, which will take place at the Nassau County Stadium in NY. Pandya aims to be disciplined and will be on the hunt for the win with his team.
