Hardik Pandya showed excellent form playing for India for the first time since picking up an injury back in ODI World Cup in November. Upon his triumphant return at the T20 World Cup 2024, Hardik Pandya took 11 wickets for India in 8 games and also scored 144 runs coming lower down the order in 8 innings.
This means that Hardik Pandya has now become the first ever Indian cricketer to record more than 100 runs and 10 wickets in a single T20 World Cup campaign.
