India's chance to seek revenge! DATE for India vs Australia clash in T20 World Cup is confirmed

Team India is aiming for a redemption arc this year in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. The Rohit Sharma-led side has remained undefeated in the competition as they triumphed over Ireland, Pakistan, and now, the USA. While the Men in Blue still have one more game left, their latest win has allowed the Indian side to secure a spot in the Super 8 stage. With all the matches taking place in the West Indies, the upcoming stage will allow the Indian Cricket Team to compete against some of the top global cricketing powerhouses. Team India has a chance to face against one of their top nemesis after Pakistan, Australia.

India vs Australia clash to happen at Super 8 stage in T20 World Cup! Possible date for revenge match revealed 

After qualifying for the Super 8 stage in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, the Indian Cricket Team will be heading to the West Indies for the next set of matches against the other groups' top teams. But one match that the Indian fans will be rooting for is the clash against Australia, the side who gave a major heartbreak to the Indian fans after defeating them in the ODI World Cup Final. The Indian Side, led by Rohit Sharma, will vie for revenge for the heartbreak suffered by millions of fans.

The ICC has pre-seeded India and Australia in positions A1 and B2, respectively. So, depending on where the teams finish in the points table, they may square off on June 24th at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground in Saint Lucia.

Team India has officially qualified for the Super 8 stage, as so have Australia and South Africa. The Rohit Sharma-led side have been named in a few Super 8 fixtures, but their opponents are yet to be determined.

India won the chase in New York, scoring 111/3 to the USA's 110/8, thanks in large part to contributions from Shivam Dube (31), Arshdeep Singh (4/9) and Suryakumar Yadav (50*). It has helped Rohit Sharma's side to secure a Super 8 position, where they will face some of the competition's best sides.

Team India's final group-stage match will be against Canada on June 15, 2024, at Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill, Florida.
