Team India put up a performance of a lifetime with their bowling when they took on Pakistan at the Nassau County Stadium in New York. In a low-scoring affair, the Rohit Sharma-led side snatched the win away from the Babar Azam-led squad. The odds were against India, but the team's bowling was immaculate as they put PAK at bay and did not let them reach the target. Jasprit Bumrah's performance was applauded by many, including former IND star Sanjay Manjrekar. But the latter took a jibe at Virat Kohli in the process of praising the star bowler's performance against the Men in Green.

Manjrekar aims dig at Virat Kohli but praises Jasprit Bumrah after IND vs PAK clash
After Team India triumphed over Pakistan in the group stage match of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup applause poured in for the players, especially Jasprit Bumrah, who orchestrated India's win with the ball after effectively derailing Pakistan's momentum. But former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar also took aim at Virat Kohli while hailing the Indian bowler. Taking to X (Formerly Twitter), while applauding Bumrah for his amazing efforts with the ball, Manjrekar also lashed aim at Kohli for garnering all the hype prior to the crucial match at the Nassau County Stadium.
"While Indian media obsesses over Virat & Co, Jasprit Bumrah quietly wins games for India single-handedly. By far the best player in the Indian team & has been for a while now. #JaspritBumrah #ICCT20WC," Manjrekar tweeted on X.

Speaking of the match, on a two-paced track, India's bowling assault, spearheaded by Bumrah, reduced Pakistan to 113 for seven in 20 overs as a response to India's 119 all-out. Bumrah once again showed remarkable skill with the ball, and Hardik Pandya revived India's fortunes with some solid 2/24 bowling stats. While India couldn't contribute big with the bat, they compensated for it while doing miracles with the ball. At the Big Apple, the Jasprit Bumrah showcase was on fire as they took out their opposition with ease and did not let them reach the target. In what looked like an easy win for Pakistan, Team India took it out of their plates and served it for themselves.
