India made history by defeating Bangladesh by 50 runs in their second Super Eight match, sending them to the T20 World Cup semifinals for the second consecutive year.

Rohit Sharma's humorous side came to the fore after Kuldeep Yadav removed Shakib Al Hasan, who had just hit a six, in the fifteenth over of Bangladesh's chase. Mahmudullah, the next batsman, was duped by a Kuldeep googly that narrowly missed the off stump.
