Marco Jansen, Kagiso Rabada suffer mid-air collision at the boundary line during WI-SA Super 8 clash
During the Super 8 encounter between the West Indies and South Africa, Marco Jansen and Kagiso Rabada collided while attempting a catch at the boundary ropes. Kyle Mayers lofted a delivery from Aiden Markram over the bowler's head and into the sightscreen in the seventh over, when the two teammates collided. The hit was nasty, and from one angle, it looked like Rabada speared Jansen in mid-air. The lack of communication between the bowlers was the reason for the brutal hit between the players.
After the nasty collision, both players were grounded, but it looks like Marco Jansen suffered the most effects of the hit as he was seen walking off the field. It could be a sign of trouble for the Proteas as they will fall shorthanded on the field. Kagiso Rabada was able to continue despite the discomfort, but Jansen spent a significant amount of time lying on the floor beyond the boundary line before heading to the dressing room for additional treatment.

Speaking of the match, undefeated South Africa continues to roar against the co-hosts West Indies as they continue to scalp vital wickets and derail the Windies' momentum. But Russell's onslaught had not begun as he tossed two of Nortje's balls towards the stands for six. The Windies will look to add some more runs to keep their Super 8 hopes alive, and for that, they need to also make effective use of the ball.
