Afghanistan's dream run in the T20 World Cup 2024 saw a cruel conclusion at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy on Wednesday (Thursday morning in India). In a much-anticipated semi-final, Afghanistan were outclassed by South Africa in all departments, losing the game by 9 wickets. Proteas' pace battery of Kagiso Rabada, Marco Jansen, and Anrich Nortje didn't give Afghanistan batters any time to settle and inflicted a devastating collapse.
