Rohit Sharma gets emotional after India reach T20 World Cup final, Virat Kohli tries to cheer him up
Virat Kohli was seen consoling an overwhelmed Rohit Sharma after Team India sealed their way into the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 final against South Africa.
Team India has secured their place in the final thanks to their ability to deliver a gritty performance against the opponents. Despite a couple of talented players' inability to hit huge shots, the team has been able to overcome all competition. Team India will face South Africa in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup final after defeating England in the second semifinal. As India punches their ticket to the crucial summit fight, Rohit Sharma was obviously emotional on the side as the Men in Blue's bowling mastery opened the way for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup final.

After the ICC Men's T20 World Cup semifinal match between India and England, skipper Rohit Sharma was seen overwhelmed with emotions. Even though the Indian skipper was happy on the pitch, he appeared to be crying as he sat outside the dressing room after all the traditions of the post-match were followed. While the television cameras focused on him, Rohit sat in a chair outside the dressing room, his head covered with his hands, trying to contain how he was feeling.
After the traditional handshakes with the England players, star India batter Virat Kohli observed an emotional Rohit Sharma and consoled him on his walk back to the dressing room. In addition, Suryakumar Yadav also congratulated the captain and consoled him by patting the Indian Team skipper.

England appeared to be in serious trouble when they faced India while batting in the second innings. Rohit Sharma's gamble in selecting a spin-heavy team paid off, as they were able to punch England's tickets to return home, effectively ending the defending champions' season. England was completely wiped out by the Men in Blue, who demonstrated a bowling masterpiece. Bowlers Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel were on fire as they took the English batters to task. After the match, social media exploded with memes as Team India advanced to the final.
