The T20 World Cup 2024 match between USA and Pakistan had everyone on the edge of their seats as USA pulled off one of the most iconic upsets in cricket's history to win the Group A fixture in a thrilling Super Over in Dallas. 

The tension during the super over was so palpable that it even got to Indian Cricket Team head coach Rahul Dravid who was seen trying to stay updated with the match score while travelling through the Subway in New York. 

In a breathtaking affair, Pakistan batted first and scored 159 runs in 20 overs. USA required 160 to chase and register their second victory in the tournament. Led by Mohank Patel and Aaron Jones, USA tied the score with 159 at the end of 20 overs and the match progressed to super over. In the Super Over, USA set a target of 19 runs for Pakistan to chase and a spirited over by Saurabh Netravalkar, Pakistan were limited to only 13 as USA emerged victorious.

Rahul Dravid reaction to USA upset over Pakistan goes Viral 

Team India's head coach, Rahul Dravid was travelling through the Subway in New York and even he did not expect that the match would get this close. 

Once, the match went into Super Over, a post is circulating and going viral on X, where Rahul Dravid is seen keeping tap at the score while the drama unfolded in Dallas.

A tough assignment awaits for Dravid and India 

Rahul Dravid knows the assignment for Team India will be tough in the T20 World Cup 2024 as up next India face Pakistan in the Group A fixture on Sunday, June 9th at the Nassau Country Stadium in New York. 

Pakistan will look to bounce back from their defeat against eternal rivals India. As for India after Pakistan they will face the host nation and the currently high flying Team USA. India will need to navigate these tough fixtures and come out on top to progress into Super 8 of competition.
