After defeating Australia, Team India officially served their retribution. As they counted on Bangladesh to make it to the semifinals, the Men in Blue have reduced the Mitchell Marsh-led team's prospects of moving on. Even though the club lost out on its star player, Virat Kohli, on a duck, Rohit Sharma's onslaught was on display as he mowed down some of the best bowlers in the competition. The captain's amazing pace and brilliant knock have helped India stay unbeaten in the tournament. After the match, the dressing room was overly jubilant as they celebrated in the dressing room during the Best Fielder medal ceremony.

Axar took one, Kuldeep Yadav took two, and Jasprit Bumrah handled Travis Head as they stopped the Aussies before they could achieve the objective.

Team India won the inaugural T20 World Cup title in 2007 and are yet to win another title. Given their tenacity and grit, it looks like this year could be the one for the team as they have been putting up strong performances.
