Rahul Dravid reveals Rohit Sharma convinced him to stay till T20 World Cup

In a farewell video posted by BCCI, Rahul Dravid thanked Rohit Sharma for the phone call, he made after India lost ODI World Cup final top convince him to stay. To which Dravid decided to continue with the Indian cricket team for 6 more months until the T20 World Cup, which they eventually won by finishing unbeatable throughout the tournament. In the video posted by BCCI, Rahul Dravid said:
'Just like to say Ro, thank you very much for making that call I mean in November and asking me to continue (till T20 World Cup) I think it’s been a pleasure to work with each and every one of you but also to Ro (Rohit Sharma) thanks for the time I know as a captain and a coach there is a lot of times we have to chat and discuss we have to agree we have to disagree at times but thank you so very much I think you know it’s been brilliant to know each and every one of you in person and yeah I think it’s your moment.
It’s not about any individual we won this as a unit we won this as a team'
