Suryakumar Yadav gets into the firing zone after a failed performance yet again in the T20 World Cup as the critics brutally lambast him for not stepping up.
Team India managed to pull off a mammoth win at the Big Apple after they snatched a win out of the hands of Pakistan. While batting first, the Indian side was dominated by the PAK bowlers as the controversial Nassau County tracks played their part in helping the Men in Green. the Indian batters attempted to hit big but couldn't stand the pitch after the collapse. Even Suryakumar Yadav failed to produce in the big competition. Given that he is a top-ranked T20I batter, a lot of attention was over him in the match-up. But when SKY fell, criticism was imminent from the fans as they blasted him for his subpar performance.

Suryakumar Yadav brutally trolled after his subpar showcase for India in T20 World Cup
ICC's number one ranked T20I batter Suryakumar Yadav failed to meet expectations when he lost his wicket cheaply in the pivotal IND vs PAK T20 World Cup group stage clash. With the openers falling to the PAK bowlers, Surya had the chance to pull a turnaround and make a strong statement as an India batter. But SKY fell after he lost his wicket to Haris Rauf and managed to get just seven off eight balls. Surya's performance in high-stakes events is often seen as a matter of concern as the batter fails to deliver. The last time it happened was at the ODI World Cup Final when India lost to Australia as he put up 18 runs off 28 balls, which was certainly not enough.
After Surya was dismissed, a horde of criticism followed on the social media platform X (Formerly Twitter). One of the critics deliberately pointed out that one of the biggest disrespects in AB de Villiers' career was analogising him with Suryakumar Yadav.
'The biggest disrespect to AB Devilliers' career is that they compared him with Suryakumar,' the user tweeted on X.

Suryakumar is yet to set the stage ablaze with his batting as he fell cheaply on both group stage matches India has played. With two more games remaining, SKY's performance will be vital in analyzing the situation as Team India moves ahead in the T20 World Cup.
