It is a historic night at the Arnos Vale Stadium because Afghanistan has the dream and the ability to make it a reality. The Afghans hoped to make it happen in the T20 World Cup 2024, and any cricket fan would believe in miracles after what occurred in the Caribbean. The Rashid Khan-led side has done the unthinkable by derailing Bangladesh and securing a position in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 semifinals. They overcame the Bangladesh Tigers in a rain-soaked match.

Afghanistan's grand-fashioned win over Bangladesh excites the social media fandom 

The Afghan Atalans are celebrating after Rashid Khan and his team overcame the Najmul Shanto-led Bangladesh side in the Super 8 match and advanced to the semifinals. The Afghan Atalans outperformed the Bangla Tigers, and social media erupted with joy. Cricketers such as Virender Sehwag, R Ashwin & Sachin Tendulkar couldn't help but react to the fierce clash, which had every cricket fan glued to their seats.

The Ban vs. AFG Super 8 duel will be remembered as one of the most heated battles, with several near calls that contributed to Afghanistan's victory. Rashid Khan and Naveen-ul-Haq were the night's stars, taking their respective four-fers, and Liton Das' half-century was in vain for the Bangladesh side.

After defeating Bangladesh, Afghanistan will face South Africa in the first semifinal match of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. One of the teams will advance to the final, where they will compete against the winner of the second semifinal. India and England will face off in that game, with one of them advancing further into the summit clash.
