Just like Rohit Sharma and Team India's second T20 World Cup victory, its time for a sense of Déjà vu to kick in. The country is just hours away from welcoming its champions back, just in the same manner how MS Dhoni's team was received in 2007. Rohit Sharma's Team is India bound and they are set to receive a welcome like no other. Its been almost five days that India scripted history at Barbados and now its time for the champions to come home.
The world champions have boarded a special chartered flight by Air India. Everybody might be wondering how to track the World Champions and how to stay alert about the time of their arrival. The answer to this is very simple. The call sign of the same is 'AIC24WC'. The aircraft as of now has become the most-tracked flights of recent time. There is also a special message behind naming the flight 'AIC24WC. The 'AIC' represents the Air India chartered flight whereas '24WC' stands for the 'T20 World Cup 2024' triumph.

Team India's Schedule In Delhi & Mumbai
The Indian team will land in India at around 5:30am or 6am an will get a grand welcome. The Indian team will also have a jam-packed schedule and will not get any respite any time soon. The 'Men in Blue' will first reach Prime Minister Narendra Modi's place and after meeting the PM, the chartered flight will take the world champions straight to Mumbai where they will be a 1 km long bus parade to the iconic stadium. A small ceremony is also to be followed where skipper Rohit Sharma will hand over the coveted cup to the BCCI secretary Jay Shah.

Why Is Team India Flying In A Chartered Flight?
Right After their famous win at Barbados, the Indian team was scheduled to fly out of the West Indies on July 1, 2024. They were to reach India via New York and Dubai, but they had to alter their plans as hurricane Beryl made a landfall at Barbados on July 31, 2024.
