The Indian Cricket Team are ready to begin their redemption arc as they aim to defy the odds and break the longstanding ICC title drought. It is a pivotal stage as the Men in Blue will be up for the chance to get their hands on the coveted title. With the first phase of players arriving in the United States, they have begun their strength and conditioning as they take up some practice before they head on to their warm-up game. One of the team's top superstars has also reached the United States and joined the team.

Team India takes up some light training, Hardik Pandya joins side | WATCH

With the phase one batch of the Indian Cricket Team reaching the United States of America, the Men in Blue have begun their strength and conditioning training ahead of their ICC Men's T20 World Cup campaign. While in New York on a bright sunny day, the team took up some light running sessions at a ground which looked like an American Football pitch. In a video shared by the BCCI on X (Formerly Twitter), players like Rohit Sharma, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Axar Patel, Ravindra Jadeja, and more, were seen taking some running and playing foot volley as they bonded after meeting all together after the IPL 2024. Soham Desai, Team India's Strength & Conditioning Coach, also shared an update on their light sprinting workout.

The video also featured Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who reportedly joined the team from London. He was not seen with the travelling squad as he joined later from London.

Stars like Suryakumar Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, and more expressed their zeal to be in the United States and take up some training together as a team.
