Regarding the match, R Ashwin and Washington Sundar triggered a massive collapse as the spin battery took out the New Zealand batters. Ash scalped three while Sundar took a seven-fer to bowl out New Zealand at 259. Team India was at 16/1 during Day 1 play when the stumps were called. But Day 2 brutally exposed India's vulnerability to spin bowling. While Ravindra Jadeja, Shubman Gill & Yashasvi Jaiswal played decently for the Men in Blue, they were bundled out at just 156 runs. With NZ still having the lead, they aim to take it as far as possible and mount pressure on the Indian Cricket Team and hand the hosts a rare Test series defeat at home.
