Yuvraj's humorous dig at Virat Kohli's football skills

During a recent conversation on the TRS podcast, Yuvraj Singh shared his lighthearted take on Virat Kohli's football abilities.

Yuvraj Singh jokingly mentioned, "Meri aur Virat ki bahut badi ladai hui hai football mein, meri [Ashish] Nehra ke saath bahut badi ladai hui hai football mein, Viru [Sehwag] ke saath, toh vo ho jaata hai," which translates to "I've had some heated battles with Virat in football, as well as with Nehra and Sehwag, so that happens."

He went on to playfully tease Virat Kohli, stating, "Usko (Virat Kohli) lagta hai vo bahut faadu footballer hai. Hai skill, par mere andar usse jyada hai. Vo faadu batsman hai, footballer mai better hoon. He thinks he is Cristiano Ronaldo, but he is not. In his cricket, he is Cristiano Ronaldo."

Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh were both part of the team that triumphed in the 2011 ODI World Cup on home soil. While Kohli made significant contributions with the bat, Yuvraj Singh was awarded the Player of the Tournament for his 362 runs and 15 wickets.

Virat Kohli is currently playing in the ODI World Cup 2023. He is India's top run-scorer in the tournament thus far. Kohli has smashed two centuries and three half-centuries in the competition.
