Zaheer Khan indulged in friendly banter with Hardik Pandya on Twitter in a reply to the latter's tweet. Former Indian pace bowler Zaheer turned 41 on October 7 and current Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya took to Twitter to wish Zaheer a happy birthday, but with a tinge of sarcasm. Zaheer then thanked Pandya and further added to the banter making for a chuckle-worthy moment. Let us have a look at the exchange.
The exchange that happened
Happy birthday Zak ... Hope you smash it out of the park like I did here 🤪😂❤️❤️ @ImZaheer pic.twitter.com/XghW5UHlBy

Hardik took to Twitter to wish Zaheer by teasing him about the boundary he hit on Zaheer's bowling. The video looked like archive footage of a limited-overs match between Mumbai and Baroda. Zaheer and Hardik have also shared the locker room as a part of Mumbai Indians for whom, Zaheer served as the Director of Cricketing Operations in 2019.
Hahahaha....thank you for the wishes @hardikpandya7 my batting skills can never be as good as yours but the birthday was as good as the next delivery you faced from me in this match 😉 https://t.co/anhQdrUBN7

Zaheer clapped back at Hardik's cheeky tweet by mentioning how his batting would never be as good as Hardik's, but his birthday was indeed as good as the ball he bowled after Hardik hit him for a boundary. The playful emojis included with the tweets suggested that both players were just having fun with each other and there were no real insults being thrown around. This did not stop a few users of twitter from calling Hardik 'disrespectful' though.
Zaheer Khan was winning the WC for India when you were dancing in the background of Meri Gully Mein music video. Stay in your lane. https://t.co/Y842A8HU1W
