The fastest woman of India, Dutee Chand has announced on September 10 that she has been selected in the 25-member team in the upcoming Doha World Championships which will begin from September 27. She announced the news on Twitter and also asked her followers to wish her “luck and speed”. The internet celebrates the sprinter's success and regarded her as the pride of the nation. The national champion, Dutee Chand is also the first Indian woman to win a gold medal in the 100-meter race at a global meet.

Dutee Chand's achievements in 2019
Dutee Chand has showcased an exceptional athletic journey. She won the gold medal at the World University Games in Napoli in the 100-meter race on July 10. She reached the finish line in just 11.32 seconds and still holds the record with 11.24 seconds. Dutee Chand credited her victory to the years of hard work and blessings. Dutee Chand also shared the achievement saying it doesn't matter if she's pulled down, she'll always come back stronger.
Dutee Chand also won gold at the race in All India Inter State Championship with a complete-time of 11.38 seconds.
