Stamford Bridge will see some blockbuster action in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup as Chelsea get ready to welcome Manchester United for the game. Chelsea have hit top form in recent weeks, as evident by their Champions League win over Ajax and their 4-2 win over Burnley in the Premier League. Manchester United, meanwhile, are just starting to string a decent run, having secured a 1-0 win over Partizan Belgrade in the Europa League followed by a 3-1 win against Norwich.

CHE vs MUN: Chelsea Preview

Both sides will look to give some game time to their youngsters in the Carabao Cup fixture. Frank Lampard has done an excellent job so far, bringing the likes of Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori up to speed with the rigours of the Premier League. Christian Pulisic came good in Chelsea's 4-2 win against Burnley on his first start for the Blues. The USMNT star netted a hat-trick to end a goalscoring drought of sorts. Tammy Abraham, meanwhile, has netted eight goals in 10 Premier League games so far, keeping the likes of Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi on the bench.

CHE vs MUN: Man United Preview

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer earlier said that Fred will fill in for Paul Pogba in the interim. The French World Cup winner is expected to return in December after nursing an ankle injury. Fred has endured a tough time ever since joining the Red Devils from Shakhtar Donetsk 17 months ago. He did, however, impress in United's games against Liverpool and Norwich. Brandon Williams, who impressed Solskjaer in their 1-0 win over Partizan Belgrade is expected to start against Chelsea. James Garner could also start in midfield for the Red Devils. With both teams looking to give their youngsters some much-needed game time in the fixture, it will be interesting to see which of the two sides prevail in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
