This impressive feat follows his hitting the 500 million follower milestone in November 2022. Ronaldo's Instagram has gained over 150 million new fans since May, an impressive 34% rise, per Social Blade.

Forbes claims that the 38-year-old athlete has an outstanding net worth of $500 million in addition to his huge social media following. He is one of the richest and most successful sports icons in the world, due to his extraordinary financial situation. Interestingly, Cristiano Ronaldo has taken the top spot on Forbes' list of the world's highest-paid players for the first time since 2017.  Argentine footballer Lionel Messi is in second place on the list of Instagram users with the most followers, with 482 million.
