While he acknowledged that the move attracted a lot of criticism, Ronaldo stands true to his aim, which is to win trophies and make the league better.

"I'm here to win trophies and make the league better... I won everything in Europe and for me now, it's a new challenge. I want to leave a legacy, this is what I want.

"They say Cristiano is finished, they say I'm only here to win money. I still feel the passion. Cristiano people doubt, but at the end of the day, I am here to win," Ronaldo said in the video.
