Cristiano Ronaldo despite not scoring in Portugal's dominant 3-0 win over Turkey in their Group F fixture won everyone's heart by his unselfish gesture and took all the headlines.

However, Cristiano Ronaldo's best moment of the game did not come with a football but rather with a heartwarming gesture for fans.

As the game between Turkey and Portugal headed to a close in the second half and a very young pitch invader invaded the field in Cologne to have a picture with Ronaldo. 

Ronaldo instead of turning away, went on to stop the security and hugged the young pitch invader. He even took a selfie in a very heartwarming gesture. 

Not only that following suit from the kid was another pitch invader. Ronaldo also gave him a hug and took a selfie with him.

Cristiano Ronaldo's history

In a very unselfish gesture, Cristiano Ronaldo could have scored the goal but instead ended up providing the assist to Bruno Fernandez for the goal. 

In doing so Cristiano Ronaldo has now become the first player in Euro history with most goals in the competition and the most assists in the competition. 

Ronaldo might be more unhappy at failing to score against a Turkey team that was its own worst enemy at times.

Not least in the 28th minute when, trailing 1-0 to Bernardo Silva’s strike seven minutes earlier, Turkey center back Samet Akaydin delivered a back-pass that rolled to the side of his goalkeeper and straight into the net.

Portugal backed up its opening 2-1 victory over the Czech Republic and has qualified with a match to spare from Group F.
