In a massive blow for Netherlands just days before the start of Euro 2024 campaign, it has been confirmed that star Barcelona and Dutch midfielder Frenkie De Jong won't be able to recover in time from his ankle injury and will miss the Euros for his country. Netherlands were counting on Frenkie De Jong to recover in time as he has been one of their best players in the last five years and crucial for the Oranjes chances to make a deep run and potentially win the tournament. Dutch manager Ronald Koeman who was also the former boss at Barcelona has ripped apart his former club and blamed them for mishandling Frenkie De Jong's injury which ended up aggravating it.
