France vs Belgium Predicted lineups: Is Kylian Mbappe fit to start for Les Blues in Euro 2024 R016?

France and Belgium are all set to lock horns with each other in a mouthwatering Euro 2024 round of 16 fixture at the Dusseldorf Arena in Dusseldorf. 

Heading into the game all the eyes are on French National Team captain and superstar Kylian Mbappe who has broken his nose and there is uncertainty over whether he is fit to start for France or not. 

Aside from the uncertainty around Kylian Mbappe, this Round of 16 fixture has a lot of uncertainty and question marks looming over both the sides. 

Neither of France or Belgium have particularly impressed in the tournament so far as both the sides have limped through the group stages. France have failed to get it going in the tournament having only scored two goals one of which was an own goal and one a penalty by Kylian Mbappe. 

There is a real lack of fluidity in France's play despite being solid on defence. Didier Deschamps needs to find answers to right these wrongs. 

As for Begium, they shockingly lost in their first game to Slovakia and just limped through to the next round with a goalless draw against Ukraine. With stars like Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku misfiring, the Red Devils will need to hit their stride against the 2018 World Champions.

Is Kylian Mbappe fit to start for France vs Belgium?

Kylian Mbappe is playing the entire Euro 2024 tournament with a broken nose and wearing a mask when leading his side out in Euro 2024. 

Mbappe did not feature in France's group stage game against Netherlands due to broken nose, however he started the last group stage game against Poland and scored a goal. 

Hence there is no doubt that Kylian Mbappe should be fit and ready to start for France vs Belgium.
