Guardiola expects tough challenge in bid to reclaim Premier League title

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola believes that future Premier League champions will always need to break the 90-points mark in order to secure the title.

City, who won back-to-back championships with 100 points two years ago, followed that up with 98 points last season.

Yet the 'Citizens' could yet see their record-breaking total in 2018 eclipsed by newly-crowned winners Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp's men could finish the campaign with 104 points if they win all five of their remaining matches.
