"I admire him" - Arteta on Spurs counterpart Mourinho ahead of derby

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta spoke in glowing terms on Thursday about Jose Mourinho, who he will go head-to-head with in Sunday's North London derby at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Arteta said: "Mourinho has something really special," adding: "I admire him."

Mourinho's Tottenham are unbeaten in their last nine English Premier League games - a run of form that has lifted 'Spurs' to the top of the standings.

Arsenal, in contrast, sit in 14th place after making the worst start to a Premier League season in club history and have lost four of their last six league matches.
