Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy has been named the EA Sports Player of the Month for October after netting four goals in three games in the Premier League 2019-20 season so far. Jamie Vardy has been a prominent player for Brendan Rodgers this season as Leicester City have performed unexpectedly good so far in the Premier League. While talking with premierleague.com, Vardy said that it's a great feeling to win the award and it just shows Leicester City's good form this season. The striker stated that they have been performing well and he has been fortunate enough to capitalise on the chances he has been getting so far.

Jamie Vardy grabbed a hat-trick for Leicester City in their 9-0 thumping of Southampton on Matchday 10 and also found the net in their clash against Burnley on October 19, 2019.
