Sergio Aguero on Liverpool vs Manchester City
The two sides are the only competition left in the Premier League for now and have formed a new rivalry in the top-tier English league. Sergio Aguero insisted that he still does not consider Liverpool to be their biggest opponent as he was quoted stating that the Sunday match can be a Clasico for the television but City consider United to be their direct rivals. While talking to France Football, Aguero said that Liverpool have always been a tough opponent but ever since he made the move to the blue half of Manchester, the team they were fighting for the title was United. He further said Liverpool emerged to be a stronger side in the past four seasons, however before that, there were only two top teams – United and Chelsea. He also stated that Jurgen Klopp's side is the only team which can hurt Guardiola's free-flowing City in Premier League.
