Manchester United have endured a rather below-par season in the English Premier League as they find themselves at 10th spot in the points table. The Red Devils succumbed to a 1-0 defeat against Bournemouth in their last top-flight match in England over the weekend. As a result, the position of head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues to remain in doubt due to their poor performance in the English Premier League.

Massimiliano Allegri to Manchester United?
Former Juventus and AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has been touted as the man to replace Solskjaer in the coming months if United fail to improve. However, the Italian remains unsure about the future of the English giants due to their recent struggles at home and in European competition as well. Former England and Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello feels that Massimilano Allegri should choose the job with Manchester United instead of taking up the Bayern Munich coaching role.
Capello, who has also served as coach of AC Milan and Juventus in the past, added that Allegri will be a good fit amongst a young and talented United squad that boasts the likes of Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay. Allegri, who won five back-to-back Serie A titles with Juventus, certainly has the credentials to be appointed as the next manager of Manchester United. But the question that remains is whether he is already too late to save that ship from drowning?
