Did LAFC's Carlos Vela have the best individual season in the history of the MLS?
Carlos Vela moved to LAFC back in 2017 after spending six years playing for Real Sociedad in the LaLiga. Since then, he has established himself as one of the most clinical finishers in North America. Vela's tally of 36 goals this season is the highest achieved by any player to have played in the MLS. He overtook Atlanta United's Josef Martinez who was named MVP last year with a tally of 31 goals. The question remains, will anyone come close to Vela's record in the near future? Only time will tell.
