Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United are currently in the 12th place of the Premier League 2019-20 table. A loss against Liverpool could see the Red Devils fall into the relegation zone. United have just won two out of their eight matches played this Premier League season (Draw 3, Loss 3). It looks like a very high mountain for Solskjaer to climb before turning around United's season. The fans are getting impatient with their current downfall and are eager to replace the former United player. Unless Solskjaer up the gears for United, there is a high possibility that the Norwegian will be replaced before the winter break.

Four managers who can replace Solskjaer at Old Trafford

Mauricio Pochettino

Although Pochettino's Tottenham are sailing on the same boat with Manchester United this season, the Argentine has shown he has got enough calibre to lead United. With zero signings last season, Pochettino directed his side towards the Champions League 2018-19 final. Many United supporters were in favour of getting Pochettino when Jose Mourinho was sacked. If Solskjaer gets sacked in the upcoming week the Spurs boss will be the top contestant to grab his job.

Massimiliano Allegri

Allegri left Juventus at the end of 2018-19 season after a successful run of five seasons at the Turin club. During his tenure at the Old Lady, the Italian managed to bag five Serie A trophies, four Coppa Italia titles, the Supercoppa Italiana twice and got twice into the Champions League finals. The 52-year-old is a perfect match for the United job as he's been apparently taking English lessons. As further revealed by the British press, Allegri wants to wait till the summer before opting a move to Manchester United.

Brendan Rodgers

Many people have suggested that Brendan Rodgers might end up managing Manchester United. According to Robbie Savage, a columnist in a leading British tabloid, Rodgers will lead Leicester City back into the Champions League and he could be the future Manchester United manager. Former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy claimed that Rodgers will do a better job than Solskjaer at United.

Arsene Wenger

Sir Alex Ferguson's biggest rival Arsene Wenger is reportedly being considered to be the next Manchester United's manager. Wenger left Arsenal at the end of the 2017-18 season after spending 22 years with the club. Many considered that the French-man will move to an administrative role with organisations like FIFA but the 69-year-old still looks desired to get back to coaching.
