Arsenal, in typical fashion, once again surrendered a two-goal lead against Crystal Palace and meanwhile have dropped two more valuable points in the race for a top-four position in the Premier League. Arsenal manager Unai Emery could only watch from the sideline as his side were dismantled by Crystal Palace attackers. We look at the key performers and the player ratings from the Premier League Matchday 10 game.

Premier League: Arsenal vs Crystal Palace match report

Arsenal started the game in quick fashion as they punished Palace's poor defending from corners to take a two-goal lead within the first 10 minutes. David Luiz and Sokratis scored for the Gunners in what looked to be heading for a rampant win for the home side. The first half, however, had more action in store when Palace captain Luka Milivojevic scored for the visitors from the spot. VAR had a major say in the goal after it awarded a penalty for a foul on Wilfried Zaha. The goal only meant more onslaught by Crystal Palace and more trouble for Arsenal and soon, Jordan Ayew equalised for the visitors after Luiz switched off at the back to allow the striker to ghost behind him for the goal. Arsenal thought they won the game in the 83rd minute when Sokratis scored again from the corner, but VAR intervened once again and disallowed the goal for a foul in the box.
