Manchester City are most likely to travel without club captain David Silva when they face table-toppers Liverpool for their Premier League 2019-20 clash on November 10. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola recently revealed that the skipper has picked up a critical muscular injury during their close Premier League win against Southampton F.C. on Saturday. Silva was substituted in the second half after getting injured towards the end of the first half.

David Silva injury news
Pep Guardiola informed that David Silva picked up an injury five minutes before the first half ended because of a muscular problem. The manager stated that whenever David Silva suffers from a muscular problem, he usually takes a minimum of 10-12 days to recover. Manchester City are currently six points behind Liverpool in the Premier League's points-table and the Matchday 12 clash on Sunday is very critical for both the teams. The absence of the Spaniard can make a huge difference for the Blues.
PEP on @21LVA's injury 💬 (Will he be OK for Atalanta and Liverpool?) I don’t think so.

I didn’t speak with the doctor but when he has some muscular problems and can't play more minutes it’s because he has something, and muscular problems normally means 10 to 12 days (out).
It is undoubtedly one of the most important matches for Manchester City in their quest to grab their third successive Premier League title. However, Pep Guardiola does not see it as a must-win match and said that they are going to try but he does not consider it to be the most important match. Manchester City will be travelling to Italy for their Champions League clash against Atalanta. Pep may rest some of his players for the clash as they are already five points clear in Group C of Champions League 2019-20.
PEP 💬 Do you think we can win four titles in one season by prioritising games?

No. We are going to play with the best team as possible to win in Italy against Atalanta and after that Anfield.
