PSG Ultras attack Newcastle fans ahead of Champions League clash, disturbing visuals go viral
On the eve of the Champions League clash, Newcastle United and Paris Saint-Germain supporters clashed in Paris.
Paris Saint-Germain are set to host Newcastle United in a crucial Champions League tie at the Parc des Princes. The group is very evenly poised as every team will have their opportunity to secure a berth in the knockouts. Several Newcastle supporters have made the trip to witness a historic Champions League clash in Paris.

Newcastle United supporters attacked by PSG fans on the eve of Champions League clash
Ahead of the match, the Magpies supporters were targeted by PSG fans as two sets of groups have been involved in violent clashes. PSG Ultras attacked some pubs and clubs where Newcastle supporters assembled and threw flares, tables and chairs. French police shut down a few of the clubs and bars in order to avoid more clashes between Newcastle and PSG supporters.

Newcastle United Supporters Club issued a statement claiming no fans were harmed during the clash as some videos exaggerated the incident.
"We have responded to all emails and DMs. We will continue to be available for supporters. We were in the bar tonight that was attacked. Yes, it’s s--t but the videos make it look worse than it was. Our advice remains stick together and look after each other."
The club also issued a travel advisory for the travelling fans insisting on avoiding a particular suburb in the French capital.
Newcastle United fans are strongly advised to avoid the Auteuil suburb of Paris and should take note of this when travelling to the Parc des Princes on matchday. Street crime, including pickpocketing, can take place in Paris. Supporters are advised to be vigilant, take sensible precautions and ensure they have valid travel insurance."
Newcastle thrashed Kylian Mbappe's side 4-1 at St James' Park in the reverse fixture and revenge will be on the cards for the French side.
