Real Madrid In Contact With Liverpool Superstar Amidst Shock Transfer Rumours

Real Madrid have only just unveiled Kylian Mbappe as their newest Galactico with a grand presentation ceremony at the Santiago Bernabeu. As it turns out, the Los Blancos want to move in the summer transfer window quickly as they have contacted Liverpool superstar for a blockbuster move amidst shock rumours of transfer. 

Real Madrid want to strengthen their defence after departure of their Captain Nacho and long term injury to David Alaba. As it turns out, Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring the contract situation of England and Liverpool's superstar full back Trent Alexander Arnold. 

Real Madrid's concrete interest in signing Trent Alexander Arnold

Trent Alexander-Arnold has certainly been one of the best full backs in the premier league for the last 5 years and has been one of the most important figures for Liverpool in their Premier League triumph in 2020 and Champions League triumph in 2019. 

However, TAA's contract is about to expire in 2025 and Real Madrid are interested in signing the star Englishman this summer or next summer on a free transfer. It has been reported by Christian Falk, that both Real Madrid and Trent Alexander-Arnold are in contact with each other as the Englishman is also keen on the move.

Real Madrid's starting RB Dani Carvajal despite his amazing performances is nearing the end of his career at 32 and Los Blancos have identified the 25-year English full back as the perfect long term replacement.  

Despite both parties being keen a move for this summer, a signing won't be easy as Liverpool will demand a hefty price tag which Real Madrid will be unwilling to pay given they can sign Trent Alexander-Arnold for free once his contract expires in 2025.

Another key factor in pursuing TAA to a move to Madrid could prove to be their star English player in Jude Bellingham. Both Alexander-Arnold and Jude Bellingham share a great friendship off the pitch and that could also be a key factor in Blancos pursuit of the Englishman.
