Spain win Euro 2024: WATCH The Moment Spain Beat England and Became Euro 2024 Champions

Spain have emerged victorious in the final of Euro 2024 as they beat England 2-1 with a thrilling late goal from substitute Mikel Oyarzabal in the 87th minute. With this victory, Spain have won their record fourth European Championship.

The final was a thrilling affair and Spain were the dominant side. They went ahead by a Nico Williams goal but were pegged by a stunning Cole Palmer equaliser. But Mikel Oyarzabal rose and Spain were crowned Champions of Europe. 

As soon as the final whistle went the Spanish players were elated with their win and celebrated their hearts out on their crowning glory. The best team simply won it as they went invincible and perfect throughout the tournament.

Heartbreak For England Once Again

While Spain deservedly were on top of the moon celebrating their Euro 2024 triumph, on the other side England were once again left heartbroken. Their 58 year wait for a major trophy continues as the country is starved off its first ever European Championship.

At the full time whistle, England players were left distraught as goalkeeper Jordan Pickford was inconsolable and could not control his tears. Harry Kane was also left devastated as another silverware slipped out of his grasp once again.

England have now lost two consecutive finals at Euros their first one was a heartbreaking loss to Italy on penalties in Euro 2020 and now a last gasp loss to Spain. England will definitely have it tough to recover from the heartbreak but no one can deny that the best team in the tournament won.
