Toni Kroos called time on a stellar career in football as he retired from club football and international at the end of 2023-24 season and the conclusion of Euro 2024 in Germany. n

Toni Kroos' time at Real Madrid was nothing short of iconic as he became one of the cornerstones of a Real Madrid side that won the three peat of Champions League in 2015, 2016 and 2017. As Toni Kroos looked back at a legendary career with Los Blancos, he named his three favourite players he loved playing with at Real Madrid.

Toni Kroos signed off from his Real Madrid career in spectacular style by winning La Liga and his 6th Champions League title (5th with Real Madrid). 

As Toni Kroos looked back at his time with Los Blancos, he picked the three Real Madrid players he loved to play with. 

Toni Kroos had no hesitation in naming that his three favourite Real Madrid players were none other than, former captain Sergio Ramos, Kroos' partner in crime in midfield Luka Modric and who else other than superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Out of all the four players only Luka Modric is the one who still plays for Real Madrid and is going to be the new club captain going into the 2024-25 season. 

Toni Kroos on his bond with current Real Madrid teammates

Toni Kroos confirmed that he shared a great bond with current Real Madrid players and the dressing room was very united. 

“Yes, I have a personal relationship with many of them. Last season was not only very successful but we had a TOP dressing room, I can’t say the same for every team I played for. They are people I definitely want to keep in touch with. Great characters,” said Toni Kroos.

Toni Kroos retired from football having won 33 career trophies including 1 FIFA World Cup and 6 Champions League titles.
