Chelsea started off with a 0-1 loss against Valencia in this year’s UEFA Champions League season. There is hope within the Blues squad that they can register a win against LOSC Lille as they travel to France on Wednesday night. Frank Lampard will stick to his young guns for matchday two in Europe. Here is our predicted line-up for both teams who face-off at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.

UEFA Champions League: Lampard to persist with promising youngsters

Chelsea have been great on the attacking front this year but look to be lacking stability in defence. Manager Frank Lampard is expected to hand a start to youngsters such as Fikayo Tomori, Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham against Lille. Jorginho is expected to run things in midfield alongside Mateo Kovacic. Expect veterans - Willian and Pedro - to get some much-required game time in France.

LOSC Lille find themselves at the bottom of Group H in this year's UEFA Champions League. Christophe Galtier will push his side to bounce back from the 3-0 loss to Ajax with a dominant outing against Chelsea in front of home fans. Summer signing Timothy Weah is still sidelined for the French club. Defender Gabriel is expected to start ahead of Tiago Djalo defence. Meanwhile, former Blues forward Loic Remy is expected to start on the bench against Chelsea.
